  • A web tool that allows the manufacturers to print certificates for each piece of equipment ordered or by state for bulk orders. Component Certificates are available for items such as cables, struts, restrained springs, and hangers.
  • Two databases are developed for each manufacturer. An equipment database that lists all of the equipment that is in the independent listing program. A certificate database to retain the information for each certificate issued by the manufacturer. Certificates are only available on line for equipment and not for components. Certificate of compliance for components only define the capacity of the component as it applies to the design application.
  • A search tool is provided for the public to find qualified equipment. Companies are listed based on receipt of the one time initial fee. The earlier you submit the initial fee, the closer to the top your company will be listed on the report provided to the public.
  • A search tool is available that allows manufacturers to search for the equipment in the equipment database or equipment in the certificate database.
  • A search tool is available that allows manufacturers to search for equipment that may have experienced ground motion within 100 and 200 miles of an earthquake.

If the product qualification report is not acceptable and the manufacturer wants to end the application, a full refund will be provided to the manufacturer minus adjusted for time spent on the application.
  • Step 4: Annual maintenance fees will be invoiced on a yearly basis from the time the final report is completed.
